Jeremy Boone is a Technical Director at NCC Group where he specializes in hardware and embedded systems security.
He has an extensive background in conducting security assessments of embedded devices, with expertise in code review and reverse engineering at all layers of the typical embedded stack: bootloader, kernel, drivers, and trusted execution environments.

As a member of eSentire's Security Strategy team, Kurtis Armour is responsible for finding new and innovative ways to protect customers. As a regular conference speaker, Kurtis is inquisitive and dedicated to the cybersecurity industry and furthers research endeavors.
He holds an OSCP certification which helps him understand the needs and requirements of organizations on the defensive side. Kurtis' current research focuses on cloud and endpoint security as it pertains to the managed detection and response industry. Kurtis holds a Bachelor of Technology from Seneca College

An engineer and software architect, Cat Coode has spent two decades working in roles from software developer to senior management. In 2013, Cat recognized the need for people to better understand the importance of their digital data and how to keep it safe.
Combining her love for teaching and her background in tech, Cat launched Binary Tattoo to help empower people with this knowledge so they can have a safe and positive online experience. In addition to speaking, Cat specializes in guiding companies through their global privacy regulation compliance, backed by a certification in Canadian Privacy Law from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Adrian has advised and worked within both the public and private sector. He is currently the Threat Intelligence and Hunting Lead for Deloitte Canada.

Subir Biswas works for McAfee as a Product Security lead. His work at McAfee includes Security Review of Software Design/Architecture, Threat Modeling, Penetration Testing, Fuzz Testing, etc.
Subir received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba in 2013 and has been with McAfee since then.

Sean Howard is a Systems Administrator and Hacker that has been active in the Waterloo Region tech industry for 10 years. He's worked in networking, information security, and medical technology, and has a personal interest in how Privacy and Security can be enhanced for marginalized communities.
Unfortunately he's into automation and risk assessment so is too boring to tell you how to break into buildings. Most of his current free time involves working with BSD, playing tabletop RPGs and boardgames, and raising his son.

As CIGI’s managing director and general counsel, Aaron Shull acts as a strategic liaison between CIGI’s research programs and other departments while managing CIGI’s legal affairs and advising senior management on a range of legal, operational and policy matters.
A member of CIGI’s executive team, Aaron provides guidance and advice on matters of strategic and operational importance, while working closely with partners and other institutions to further CIGI’s mission. He also serves as corporate secretary.
